I need a plastic that is r i g g i d as well as heat and UV resistant. The plastic I need must be able to with-stand extensive weathering, and scratching. I want my product to stand the test of time. My product is not ment to break to buy-a-new. Also If it is possible for some kind of additive to give the plastic anti-bacterial properties? Might seem outlandish but think of the possible applications for anti-bacterial plastic. What ever the best plastic and additives that would best suite my application please I really need some advise?

Silver as an additve works well and has been used for some time now.

As to a plastic that lasts long and withstands weathering, from what I read from the greenies, all plastics last forwever. That aside, if we had more information on the end product without you giving away the farm, we might be able to help.
