Thanks Greg...Thanks everyone !

Greg, is it OK to delete the "one-liner posts" that may not be adding value to the topic....just to maintain the RICHNESS of the thread?

My personal opinion is that censorship should be used in moderation except for the hard and fast rule of no advertising; however, I do not speak for Greg or the web site.

Over moderation can stifle conversation, which, while it often drifts off topic, can lead to other items of interest to the community.

Hmmmm...Louis you are right.

I always liked this term you use "thread drift" :-)

I 'did consider renaming 'this thread' which we all so nicely stole from its original topic :) but, like Louis, I usually prefer the light touch.

I'd suggest, in general to all moderators, that most of our forums need regular priming via a moderator posted question that stirs conversation.

We have many lurkers who join in thusly, but not otherwise.

My only strong hand is with people attacking each other or each others firms, or countries in a non-dignified manner. This isn't the Family Court.

OK, seeing the title was advertising, I DID change it :)

Best to all,[/i]
...greg!

hahahaa....Greg.

That is a nice move you have made.
"change" is the key word. Monotony kills.

Adding a "line" to the main topics is also not a bad idea.
The line may change upon public demand but the main title remains constant.

For example:

INJECTION MOLDING....good mold good part?

BLOW MOLDING....more of an art than a technique

ND

Being an old member of these forums, we can always ask (...we must ask!) where some one has been after a long absence.

As for me, some personal reason kept me away but now i make sure to drop in atleast once in a day or two.

Btw, it would not be a bad idea to share how many times in a day, or a week others log-on to the forums !

Every work day multiple times, and most weekends at least once per day. Yeah, I know, I'm addicted to the tube, but at least it is not the TV tube.
