If you are interested, I've got copies of a chapter in the
Encyclopedia of PVC, 2nd edition, Volume 4,Chapter 8, that I
co-authored with Dr. Richard Grossman. Its titled: "Compounding
and Processing PVC:General Principles of Plant Operation for
Optimum Profitability".
The example plant is a PVC extrusion plant, but ANY process or material
would need to go through the same evaluation and rationale.
