A dilute solution viscosity. A 0.5% solution viscosity in cyclohexanone or ethylene dichloride. Solution (solute = resin/solvent = Cyclo) viscosity vs pure solvent viscosity gives K value.

corresponds to ISO/R174 for PVC.

Relative viscosity is ratio of flows times.
Intrinsic viscosity =( relative viscosity -1)(1/Concentration(g/ml))

After research a few details :

The K value, used for PVC, is determined by the viscosity ratio at two different concentrations 0.5 and 1% for example or two different solvant according to the standard used.

raw material manufacturers use ISO 1628-2 for Viscosity number and K Value. See Doc Ineos for example
