Plastic Extruder tearing of material

We have 14 extruder's and we find that some time there is high levels of tearing of plastic during production can you please assist how we can over come this problem?????? Sole recommended solutions??? or number of things we can do to over come this

2. If machines are running 24 hours a day 7 days week how we can clean the barrel to ensure there is no material build up please give solutions ?????In terms at present we clean our barrel one every week is that sufficient for a plant that is running 24 hours a day 7 days week ??? You answers will be of immense help

You left out many variables that might help in giving you an answer. What is the material - if it is not heat senistive and doesn't burn, it should run forever, providing that you keep the hopper filled.

What exactly to you mean by tearing - are you ruinning sheet, profiles, tubing or solid rod?

Post more detail and you should get an answer.
