Softening LLDPE

Hello there, anyone know how to soften a LLDPE to make it same with a rubber having a hardness equivalent to 60 - 75 Duro? Thanks

There are a number of TPEs that can be used depending on your end use needs. Contact GLS, Teknor Apex, Dow, etc. for recommendations.

For all those DIY folks out there, you can melt compound any of several ethylene copolymers (EVA, EEA, POE, even EPDM) into LLDPE and soften the resin.

Hey my friends,

I need a little help. I am running dual dies that were manufactured to run Octene material. If i change to Hexene material how will it affect my ouput/properies of the film?
