PET with EVOH

We are receiving quite a bit of PET food packaging sheet scrap that has a PVOH layer. My question is does anyone have experience extruding a sheet from this mix? I realize surface appearance will be inferior but that may not be an issue for our intended application. The sheet would then be thermoformed so any comments on the behavior of the material in the shaping step would also be appreciated.
