Hi forum,
I'm looking for a polymer foil with the following specifications:
1. It shoud be less than 0,1 mm thick
2. It should be cheap to manufacture
3. When the foil is exposed to UV light (or another electromagnetic radiation such as laser, IR light, microwaves etc etc) it will "burn" a hole within seconds. The wave source should preferably be very concentrated in order to make a hole in an exact spot. It is important that this electromagnetic radiation does not affect an ordinary polymer such as PE - in fact it should penetrate through transparent PE without affecting it.
I know for sure that one can buy polymers which harden when exposed to UV light. I want the reverse to happen.
Does such a polymer exist?
