Spring stock lifters

Has anyone used these spring stock lifters? If so how well do they work and do they wear the steel as I would suspect.

Thanks

Hey Oldtool:
Yeah I just installed some CUMSA RC-3 spring lifters ( they call them retractable core) on an aluminum mold. Installation was a breeze just go by manufacture specs and they were fairly cheap. As far as your real question - does it wear the steel? well I will have to get back to you on that. So far the aluminum is holding up but this is a short run part and it will take a while to see the extent of wear. Keep in mind this is an aluminum mold and it did not wear out on the first shot like I thought it would LOL.

Like anything else they wear but no more than anything else if they're fitted right. Don't think I'd try them on a real fast cycle tool. Easy to install.
