Newbie seeking advice, new roto product difficulties

I am in the process of designing a new product and have run into a few problems, firstly the huge outlay for a tool to be made.
Product is 16 inches tall, 8 deep and 24 wide. polyethelene.
and secondly i only have drawings in photoshop.
Can anyone help...what would be the best price for a tool of that size to be made.

By comparison to other methods of plastic processing, rotomold tooling is cheap. Do you work for a corporation with financial ability or are you a single person startup? If the later, you may want to get on the hobby forum where they do things on the cheap unconventionally.

I have been given a quote of £3K for tool and £19.50p for each item, this is close to the final price for the item giving me no profit (and no way of recouping initial outlay).
Do you think that price is fair?
I have drawings but only in photoshop jpeg, i have no CAD skills or program or time to learn them.
About me: I am a photographer/artist and am now moving into some manufacture with almost no funds available, so yes self funded individual.
I have no idea whether the item can be made by another process such as blow moulding, how can i find out?

Does it have to be PE?

Sounds like you're making a trough of some sort. Is the part enclosed, or does it have an open top? How thick are the walls? Is weight a concern? Maybe you could TF the part in vinyl or PP for less money.
