Vintage Motorcycle Plastic

Postby DCPlasticsGuy on Mon Oct 16, 2006 1:50 pm

Hi Guys,
We manufacture and sell vintage motorcycle plastic. We have been in business for about two years. Right now we are using HDPE plastic to form our parts. The plastic needs to be flexible, but yet hold it's shape nicely at the same time. Guys crash alot riding vintage motorcycles, and their fenders can't be breaking at every tip over. Our plastic has a matte or dull finish right now. We are looking to get a high gloss or shiny finish. Any suggestions on where to find such a plastic or a different plastic type?

Ater you flame treat or corona treat the surface, you might be able to get a clear gloss paint to stick to it.
