Tool/Process suggestion for small qty. testing

Postby patent-5,775,046 on Thu Sep 06, 2007 9:37 am

I would like to make short-runs of small products for my kids. Some of these, I imagine would be fabricated in a process similar to "dip" molding.
1. Can someone refer me to a link that could instruct how to accomplish this without investing in the dip-molding equipment – is there a cold-process/material?
2. Molded part needs to be durable, flexible, and clear.
I want to form everything with my hands; no machining if I can avoid.
Thanks.

Hi No need to multi post as most use the "posts since last visit" the members that don't do this are usually lurkers and seldom contribute.

There is never a dumb question from someone new to the area. However occasionally there is a dumb answer. Mostly due to a vague post or misreading the post.

As was pointed out ther are hobby molding sites that ofetn can provide more than we can as an industrial site. However we do like to help whenever posible (Our Bark is worse than our bite)
