Welcome Andrew!!

So you're in Sales----I used to be in sales myself, and was once told by my salty general manager that "salesmanship is the lowest form of human endeavor"! (He was production-oriented). Despite his comment, I thoroughly enjoyed helping customers solve their problems --with MY products!

So, what do have to sell?? ----and how can we help??

Cheers, Skip

Ah, production oriented...

One must rember that without a product to sell there is no need for sales.
And without sales, there is no need to have a product.

Welcome!

I am going to be marketing the Plastics.com Edge. It is an annual sales lead generation program that gives companies the chance to broadcast their name over our web, email, and social media pages. We create a web page on plastics.com for their subject area of the plastics industry, providing a neutral summary of what they do on the left, and accompanied by company branding on the right. The prospect can also choose to have videos, photos, links, etc. on the right, which makes this area of the page more or less their own mini website.

The idea is that customers interested in the specified subject now cant help but be exposed to the company's name, which is directly related to the subject matter. We also help craft an annual email campaign for the company, sending the letters to all of our members here at plastics.com. In addition, we let the company create a topical newsletter about who they are and what they do, also sent to all of our members.

Lastly, we bundle in the PlasticsWire, which allows them to publish and distribute press releases to the plastics community. The third, and final component of this program, is social media broadcasting. We broadcast a company's news via our multiple social web channels (facebook, linkedin, twitter, etc.) up to 4 times a month.

This is a great way to expand a company's customer base, but a web page linked to social media pages also ranks higher on Google. We believe this program offers several benefits to the customer, and that it is the best value for any similar program offered in the plastics industry.

In terms of help, I need any and all prospects who might be interested. Our scope is wide, we cover the entire plastics industry and hope to be help to as many companies as we can. So if there are any possible sales leads that you know of, then please pm me with their info. If it's either a name, number, address, website, etc. it would be appreciated. Please visit the Plastics Edge link as well.

Hello again to all the plastics.com members, as previously mentioned I have taken a position here at plastics.com as a telemarketer/sales representative. I am almost at the end of my training and have developed a very informative and professional sales pitch. I would like to thank the plastics.com staff for all their support and feedback as it has helped me greatly with preparing for my first call. In addition to practicing my pitch with the staff, I would be happy to practice with anyone who is willing to spare 10-15 minutes and listen, as well as giving feedback.

I can be reached at the plastics.com offices on my direct sales line and would love to hear from you.

Plastics.com Sales 978.602.8123

Or if you'd prefer, leave your contact info and I shall make a sales call to you.

Thanks again, and wish me luck, as I shall begin making 'real' sales calls to the plastics industry soon!

BTW, I like the plastic pellet theme for avatars, but then I saw the faceless one and now I'm torn between the two.
