A message from plastics.com partner Netstal-USA.com

All of us at Netstal would like to thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit our booth. The show featured the North American debut of our all new ELION Hybrid and we were very excited at the amount of interest the machine received. This unique machine features an electric clamp, an electric screw drive, and an accumulator driven hydraulic injection system powered by the super efficient Eco Power Unit. Currently available with 220, 280, and 320 metric tons of clamping force, this machine is ideal for producing a wide range of parts that require speed, precision, and energy efficiency. In addition, the in mold labeling system at the Ilsemann booth, where our EVOS machine was featured, was also a great success. This machine has been sold and is on its way to a customer!

As we follow up with each visitor individually over the coming weeks, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected] , if you have a specific project or a question, or are in need of technical data.

The video of the system running can be found at http://youtu.be/bHmDjQdPqK0

Re: NPE 2012 Photo Gallery - Hekuma

Postby greg on Wed Apr 18, 2012 5:40 pm

Hekuma, one of the leading manufacturers of high performance automation systems, exhibited the premier high-speed version “DS” from the proven “HEKU-Series for the first time at this year’s NPE show in Orlando. The robot axis integrated into a clean room version of the “Sigma-Inside”cell. At the Engel Machinery Inc. booth, an E-Motion 200 produced a medical part in a 16 cavity mold. Having a removal stroke of 450mm, the high-speed axis achieved a removal time of approximately 0.18 seconds; about twice as fast as a linear direct drive axis in the same performance class of 10,000 N.

The HEKU DS is likely the fastest robot on the market today and achieved an acceleration of 21G’s and a deceleration of 25G’s for this application.
