Purgex
Designed for efficient cleaning of filled or unfilled commodity resins from the barrel, screw, and nozzle as well as hot runners of injection molding machines. Supplied ready-to-use and pour, Purgex is engineered for commodity resins, specifically Polyolefins, and is ideal for color and/or material changes to remove of residual contamination, clean the extruder, screen pack housing, and die/manifold. It will remove all types of color bodies, carbonized material and degraded resins. Using Purgex will result in shorter cleaning cycles, lower purging material costs, and greater reliability in controlling the release of contaminants during production runs. Active ingredients of the product are non-toxic, non-abrasive and safe to use in food and pharmaceutical applications.
